Breakfast Casserole


I love breakfast food & it’s been quite a while since I brought a recipe your way. With the upcoming holidays (which mean family may be in town) I thought it a perfect opportunity to share with you this breakfast casserole recipe I stumbled across on Of course, I changed up the recipe a bit when I made it, and since cooking is an art, not a science (like baking), you can feel free to switch it up to your liking as well.

1 lb hot sausage
1 package crescent rolls
Cheddar cheese (I’d add measurements but it’s cheese…so use your judgment…and lots of cheese)
6 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 Tsp dried oregano
1/4-1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Minced onion (again, per your preference, I probably used a tablespoon or more)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Brown sausage
Press crescent rolls into bottom of 9×13 baking dish
Combine eggs, milk, oregano, garlic powder, salt & pepper
Sprinkle sausage evenly over crescent rolls
Top with minced onion & cheese
Pour egg mixture over the top
Bake for 20 minutes – or until eggs are set

Super delicious & super easy to throw together. Perfect for the family gathering!
