Santa Project

I’ve been away from my blog for several days. Sorry, friends. I’ve been preoccupied with other ‘life’ things…but am back now and hope to finish out this blogging week strong.

This morning I wanted to share with you the Santa Project I’ve been working on. I am working to cross-stitch a collection of adorable Santa ornaments. I’ve got 4 stitched at this time, here they are:

1

4

I’ve got several more before this collection is complete, but I think it’s coming along nicely AND will make wonderful Christmas gifts.

Remember that #4 is up for grabs as part of a giveaway that I mentioned some time ago. As soon as I have 75 followers I will draw a name at random and that will be our winner! It’s as easy as signing up to follow my blog via email (insert your email address in the box at the top right of the screen and click the button) or signing up to follow on your wordpress reader.
If you read my blog often but haven’t yet signed up to follow, please support the blog by signing up…you know I’ll love ya for it! Share the news with your friends & family. Get them to follow to, and we can get this giveaway show on the road!!

Which of one is your favorite so far?

I love them all, but if I had to make a choice, I would choose #1. They are all really nice though, and the collection is going to be wonderful!

The one I’m working on now is very detailed with LOTS of color changes every few stitches so it’s going to take much more time than the others I’ve done so far…but it should be adorable when it’s done!
I need to get done finished out. I bought the supplies but haven’t made time to get to that part of the project. Will be cool to see how the final-final product turns out.

I definitely would have to say the Santa star!! The shape does great things for his figure! 😉
Those are all great, but I am beginning to wonder if you have too much time on your hands? Definitely a lot of patience for sure!

Haha, I do have more time on my hands during the summer because my work changes from full to part time for the summer months – it’s wonderful! So…I’ve been working hard to get going on this project because I want to give them as Christmas gifts. It does require a lot of patience but the final product is SOOOO worth it!
Thanks for stopping by the blog and voting for your favorite Santa…the star one is adorable. Not only does it do a lot for his figure but the black, red and white just come together so nicely!

Well if you ever look at that Santa star and question who to give it to, I would be willing to take it off your hands. Just saying … 😉
